COLD START MISS??
My 1998 seems to have a miss when first started in the morning. When the motor warms up it, the miss goes away. I just finished changing the plugs, synching the carbs.

Re: COLD START MISS??
Sounds like either a vacuum leak or a dirty carb. When the engine is cold you need more fuel to fire the cyl. Check for a vaccum leak first and if none are found pull the carbs and clean them. Also drill out the mixture screw caps so you can adjust them. With the bike at idle you can touch the pipes the cold one is the cyl dead.
