Ok, here's the deal:
After the first couple rides I found some issues with the bike. So it went into the garage and got taken apart. Due to various weather and home issues, the bike sat with only sporadic work done to it for many months. Well, circumstances forced my hand, and I spent most of this weekend getting it back together. Now comes the issues:
I did an LED conversion on the gauges. It all looked good during a brief test, but now there are a few problems. The neutral light is on when the clutch is released no matter what gear I'm in, it doesn't show when I hit neutral while the cluch is pulled.
The headlight lamp is on all the time, and the OD light doesn't come on at all now; it worked when I checked it initially, and I think I recall it working when I turned on the bike this morning.
The fuel gauge seems inaccurate - it was sitting at around 1/4 tank when I got on it this morning, so I stopped to fill up. The bike only took about 3.5 gallons, and now the gauge needle is way past full even after riding almost 40 miles to work. Also, the fuel light (also an LED) is on all the time.
Front end is very stuttery or chattery over small bumps. I've tighted the bearings but its still not great. However, I think I saw some leakage on one of the fork seals, so that may be the problem. With the issues at home just now, it'll have to make it through the week and inot next week before anything serious can be done.
The speedo is way off, what are the part #'s for fixing that?
Also, the cruise control - I adjusted the cable per the video, now it'll power on, but not set.
That's all I can remember at the moment. Hopefully y'all have some ideas to help.
Been a while
