Lost Turn Signals
Hi working on my brothers 2002 1200 Voyager and he lost his turn signals. Worked when left driveway went about 200' turned on to turn at corner and no signals. He checked the fuses and replaced it anyway, still no signals. He went to find a flasher unit but has no luck yet. Any other suggestions? We are leaving for a trip to Virginia tomorrow and would like to have turn signals. Thanks for any suggestions.Bob

Re: Lost Turn Signals
This has been said here MANY times before....but, remove the fake tank and remove the factory "ties" holding the harness to the left side of the frame, this ONE part of the voyager has caused alot of electrical problems historically , move the steering rt. to lft. seeing how this affects things, you may have to do some wire isolation and repair in this area . In your post you said"when he turned" was the clue.

Re: Lost Turn Signals
OK Thanks for your reply. Will try that tomorrow night. This is driving us crazy. Today it started to work occasionally it would blink twice stop for a few seconds and blink again and then would blink normal after that. Thanks Bob

Re: Lost Turn Signals
That turn signal flasher is located under the left main faring. It isn't going to be easy to remove without a special S curve phillips. Ask me how I know....

The turn signal flasher is on the battery hold down left side, The turn signal cancel control is under the left faring.Mr Jensee wrote:That turn signal flasher is located under the left main faring. It isn't going to be easy to remove without a special S curve phillips. Ask me how I know....

Re: Lost Turn Signals
Good news we finally got the turn signals working. We found a broken wire in the harness and repaired it. Now all is well again. Thanks for all the replies. Bob

Re: Lost Turn Signals
Glad ya located the problem ! No need to put those plastic zip ties back on the harness to frame, I took mine off many thousands of miles ago,and all is good ! ...............................tony
