I need some advice for selling motorcycle accessories

Post by debron »

As the subject says, I need some advice, and what better place to ask for help than this fantastic group of people! Plus, knowing what the AVA meant to Ron, I trust everyone here!

I have some motorcycle items that I would like to sell. If my step-dad's bike ended up in a position where it could be repaired, I would definitely be keeping this stuff. Unfortunately, that was never going to be an option as the front of it was way beyond any kind of fixing.

I did go out online to educate myself a little more and get an idea, price wise, for these items. Though they all seemed way too expensive to me, but what do I know!

I have:

Two Memphis Shades, Batwing windshields, both black. One is 12" and the other is 9". I am pretty sure Ron didn't used either of them, and I'm not exactly sure when he got them, but the 12" looks like it has been on a bike. Though it doesn't appear to have any rock chips or wear & tear. They've been in their packing boxes in the garage.

ZG1200 Voyager Splash Guards K53002-040. It is just the guards, no screws and washers. (I did read on one site that Kawasaki doesn't even make these ones anymore. I swear he didn't get rid of anything!)

An Elite 3 MT90 B16 front tire, brand new. He received a certificate for it at the Asheville, NC rally. Apparently someone else had received a certificate as well, but they were sent Ron's as well as there own. Oops! Dunlop finally got it figured out and sent Ron his tire. He never got to use it though. He had just received it in the mail not too long before the accident.

Kawasaki Clarion speakers. It does have a few things with them, some kind of mounting (?), screws, and a remote control. At least I think the remote goes with it!

I did take pictures of everything, but wanted to get opinions from anyone that is willing to share their's, before posting pictures anywhere.

And a huge THANK YOU in advance for any help!!!

Jacqueline, I would be interested in the tire. What would you want for it and can you ship it?
