It's not mine & I haven't seen it.

It's really an '86. Looking at the pictures it has the lens & lights below the license plate, as well as the trunk light before they started painting the middle of them. Hope someone here could use this tip.

Gee, wish I would have seen this one, I left Friday evening for a trip with trailer to Dayton to pick up a free donor bike and would have added this one to the trip. One can never have enough spare voyager parts :gig:

Thanks , When I saw Johns post , ( free donor bike near Dayton Ohio ) , I jumped on it. He emailed me and asked for my info to get the title changed over. I was in disbelief over it... Though it may have been in very bad shape , but none the less at least it would have usable ignition items and some good spare's on it. Low and behold its not that bad. It has been on its side and the plastic and crash bars are snookered. But John drove it up on the trailer when I arrived there. I could if my engine went south just swap the motor and be back on the road in a few days. With only 104,000 miles on it, she still sounds strong. I am quite happy to have the spares now, that one needs to keep my old bike running for 300,000.
Hope someone in our AVA family gets that one in the north-west for 200 dollars. I am sure these electric items for ignition are becoming scarce. And I know Pete could use some spare items from this radio system and the one who gets the north-west parts bike.
What with my daughter getting somewhat better, I'M BACK to working in the shop again and loving every minute. I have a real electric nightmare on one in the shop now, getting it ready for the customer to go a 1400mile ride in about 4 weeks...

Anyway  for John Tack for his very generous gift of a donor bike that he gave me...
