Post by Lance McCaw »

Just ordered some new Progressive 412-4221C rear shocks. Hope they are as good as everyone says. The original air shock just are not holding air anymore. $256.00

I've never read of anyone complaining about the shocks. Best improvement I've put on my bike.
My air shocks were like new when I replaced them.

If you have availability of a motorcycle lift, changing out the rear shocks is simple. You need to remove saddlebags and the seat to have access to the old air lines. Remove and install shocks one at a time to avoid having the bike drop down. It will take about 45 minutes to do the entire job.

Mr. Jensee thank you for your input. I will let everyone know what I think after I install them. I hope to get them by Wednesday.

My Progressive shocks came with the needed bushings for the proper install. I love the way the bike handles with Progressive springs and shocks front and rear.

New rear shocks are on. Wow what a difference in the ride. Easy to install also.
I think I will like these much better than the air shocks. The ones I bought were Progressive
412-4221C. This is the Heavy Duty one.
