My 1989 Voyager XII has sat for a couple of months and I have been going over it the least few days to refresh her for the rest of the year and prep her for next year. That said my throttle handle has one broken retainer clip. The plastic part the end of the cable goes in. I had no luck finding that part online and am asking for assistance here. If no luck I will rebuild it with epoxy filler and hope fr the best. Second I figure since I have it close to apart I might as well replace the cables as I have felt drag since buying the bike a year ago. I tried spraying lubricant down the cables but they still seem very stiff in movement, also part of why I think the plastic retainer broke in the throttle assemble. Now all that to see if :
1 can anyone source the throttle handle?
2 as well as the Throttle cables? all I can seem to find are universal..
Thanks in advance
Tim

Re: Throttle cables and handle
I seen these on Ebay, I'm sure you can find some better but the point is they come with the throttle sleeve. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-MOTORCYC ... ed&vxp=mtr I had my throttle sticking when I bought mine. It would literally stay wherever I put it. I opened up top handlebar controls and just kept squirting a little oil each day on the cables and now when I open it up it snaps back.
