Talk about mileage Voyager

Hi everyone,

This year my Voyager 2010r. has 30.000 miles on it. If i should worry about that? If it a lot or no for that machine? Moto has a regular service oil,filter,suspemsion,belt.
What about the clutch with that mileage? ^ shaft,Chain, valves.
Better is to sell that bike or don't think about that 30miles and drive another one :).?

My 2010 only has 52,000 miles on it. Finally broke in.

If you maintain your bike you should be good for 200,000 miles.

The clutch wear is dependent on how skilled you are at shifting, how hard you accelerate, whether most of your miles are city or highway miles, etc.

Same with other wear items. Cheaper to keep her unless Kawasaki comes out with your dream color.

Mine has about 40K on it with no real problems. Be sure to pay close attention to the fluids, though. I had some issues with the slave cylinder jamming until thoroughly warmed up - probably because the previous owner didn't change the fluid at the prescribed interval. Eventually needed a new release assembly which was replaced under extended warranty. I put on about 13k per year. The PO only put on 2600 in three years and the lack of use may have contributed to the early aging of the fluid (maybe?).

I have change coolant lat few months. I check and change all the fluids very ofen. Oil every 6000 miles, brake and clutch fluids two times per year. The engine after 30miles work perfect i thnik. In poland many people say to you the the bike with 30miles has a lot , and can be wrong. Its very stupid ;) i'd like to heard yours opinion about bike mileage

And if someone change the cam chain's? Or it's to fast at 30.000m?

I have 65k on my 09 but I bought it in the fall of 2010. No issues at all just change the fluids at or below the proscribed intervals. As far as the clutch I have no idea the condition all I know is that it shifts fine. This winter I will be putting progressive springs on the front. It just doesn't feel right to me but its nothing big.

Do you have a service manual? You should not need to change the cam chains unless you hear rattling because they are stretched beyond service limits.

There is at least one Voyager 1700 owner with well over 100,000 miles on his bike and has not had to do much other than routine maintenance.

Here is the big 100,000 on my 2012 Voyager. It happened on Oct 08, 2015, On Interstate 505 just outside of Tracy, CA where my dealers located. It's really just starting to shift without the clunk

Note the temp gauge, I'd just done some work to the Voyager. Now it runs cooler, the thermometer is displaying 90 degrees.

Awesome Don! I will probably keep mine until 100,000 miles. Kawasaki hasn't made anything I would want to replace it with. If I get another Voyager it will need to be a color that pops!
