Turned 10,000 miles

Post by delsurfin »

:woohoo: Bought my 2001 on March of this year with 6,300 miles on her.
Had a few issues but all is well. This is my 13th bike in as many years and by far the best.
Weather is getting a little brisk but the weather protection is superb. I just put on some offset hwy.pegs from Marvellas and they really help. Hope to extend my season.

Fantastic find, 6k miles, your going to love this bike. They are great on long trips. Like Tony, I try to ride until the salt trucks ruin the roads for a 1/2 of snow. I don't like to leave the bike sit all winter and ride when I can. A warm engine is a happy engine..... Gene Kap.

I think Gene is soooo correct !(again  ) I believe that a bike that is always rode...and doing what it is designed and built to do, is better off than a bike that just sits around, and never leaves the garage ! how many more post's are there gonna be, about the effects of ethynol additive to the fuel, plugging up yet another set of carbs, are we going to read about ? :dm: .........just sayin........Tony :-D

The 2001 Voyager was one of the best built I think. Though I am a bit prejudice. We seldom have freezes here in winter so if the sun is shining I love to just get on it and ride. The cold never bothered me anyways.......
