Scott,I hadn't thought much yet about going to the show. Your post got me to think about it,and wondered if you would like to stay with Peg and I overnight, and we could go the 45 miles up there the next day. We have about a month and a half to think about it, and make plans if you want.

Sorry Loren, thought I replied. Thanks but we've made reservations already at a motel in Middleberg Heights OH. It's only a few minutes drive from the I-X center.

We always hit it on a Sat., drive in Friday and typically it's late when we get there so we arrive - do dinner and just sack out in the room till morning. Last year we got to the I-X center with in the first hour of opening and spent quite a few hours there. Always lots to look at and rummage through.
We'd love to see anyone from the AVA, I always try to wear an AVA shirt to help others pick me out of the crowd if searching!

It looks like Peg and are planning to go to the motorcycle show on Saturday,planning to be there about 9:30 when it opens.We plan to wear our red AVA jackets if you want to find us,or I should have my phone with me 330-988-2677.

Loren that's great, I'm sure we'll see you there. It's easy to spend both lots of time there as well as money. Of coarse the money part wont be me, but my daughter will be shopping for a good fitting and "attractive" riding jacket (with armor plates/inserts)! Possibly a new helmet for her as well since she bought an old Kawi 440 and even though she hadn't gotten to ride it last summer she's planning on getting comfortable on it this spring/summer so she can ride with dad once in a while.

Just a note, if you are going to the IMS and looking at all the "stuff" the vendors have, pass the Blaze Anti Fog/Lens Cleaner by. They talk a good story and it sounds good BUT for $25 it's just not worth it. Maybe $10-15 but not $25. And you can get the same results for a lot less. But they do talk a good story...
