Just finished winter service today. Got the engine oil and filter, fork oil,and shock oil changed[I am surprised how dark the fork and shock oil look after 4 years and 26000 miles!].Replaced my drive shaft with one I got off of ebay and greased, changed the rear tire and final oil, topped off the battery, cleaned the air filter and checked my coolant.Ready to ride! How soon is Hurley?

Re: WINTER MAINTENANCE...90% is getting started !
...O.K Loren... glad to hear ya got your winter maintenance done already
It seems we BOTH jumped ALL over our bike's needs this year ! My business work, has been slow for me over the holidays, and have also had the time to finish my work on my XII. I actually got the XII down off of the air lift today ,when I got home ,and took her out for a half hour ride in the very sunny 50 .......yes I said 50 degree weather !
This does NOT compare to the 88 degree hot ,humid weather ,that I was so privledged to ride in last week in a T-shirt !
But us northerners don't expect ANYTHING this time of year !
Riding my 03' Voyager today.....made me really appreciate the "russel" day long seat, as compared to a week, on the corbin ...rock hard terrible ....and I use the term "touring seat" loosely!
The large "hump" that corbin decided to place,( rock hard) in the "NAD" department, is still unpleasantly fresh in my thoughts
I am seriously considering starting my own M/C seat company !"Lucas leather seats unlimited" I gotta think I can do better than whats out there !............Tony

Glad you got a chance to ride today,Tony. Even if I did not have to work today, there is about a 1/4 inch of salt on the roads around here ,so,I don't know if I would have ridden or not.

Getting ready to switch over from Mobil 1 to Shell rotella this weekend. I hope the bike and I like the change. I decided to try it after reading everyone opinion on it. Also installing my last braided line on the bike which will be the clutch line and rebuild the rear master cylinder.

You won't notice a performance difference but you will save a wad of cash.
