won't start
hey guys, i know this is a voyager forum but i need help. i have a 2003 kawasaki nomad, 1500 fi. with 20,100 miles will not start. she is getting gas, spark, i put a new battery in today and new plugs. it turns over real strong and sounds like it wants to start but won't. the last time i went for a ride was dec 12 2015 about a month ago, came home and parked her in the garage she was running fine. any ideas what might be wrong??

Re: won't start
If it is getting gas, spark and starter is turning over then there is no reason it should not start unless like listed above the kill switch is set to off. Some bikes it kills all the power and some it will only kill the ignition. Check your air cleaner to make sure something is not blocking the air input.

Re: won't start
I'm with Chevyman... Check the gap on them and make sure it is set to factory specs. I sold a bike that wouldn't start and the new owner adjusted the gaps... The bike ran like a champ after that.
Also, Nomads rock! I have a 2005 myself that has a batwing fairing on it, and hard bags. I love riding it!

Mikey,
Now that it is running treat your bike to some Sea Foam, About every 3rd tank. One ounce to a gallon of gas. It will help keep water from causing any more problems and keep the fuel system clean. I don't know if your bike has one, But ya might want to think about changing the fuel filter.
