So I am wondering how difficult it is to install a choke cable on my 1986 Voyager 1200. The choke cable has been missing since I bought the bike. But there are both the choke control on the left hand controllers and also the choke catch on the right side of the back by the carburetors.
I am just wondering how difficult it would be to do the install myself. I am fairly mechanically inclined, however, I've never really done anything this major on a motorcycle before. I have pulled off the rear tire and replace the bearings myself last year. But I'm just wondering difficulty level, and with all of the tightness that is in at the front of the bike, if this is something I could do or if this is something that would be better left to professional motorcycle mechanics.
