I'm sure that Loren (cushman eagle) meant "the manifold o-rings"... not to replace the manifold. Now would be the time to replace the o-rings ,as they have been a issue on the XII at some point in the bikes lifetime.
Guys that have done it before, see the picture of your engine sitting on the floor with easy access to this job,as compared to when the engine is back in the bike ....................Tony

Re: New Voyager New Project ugh.
oddly enough I already had the O-rings in my "cart" at babbits. I got new hoses and O-rings on the way. I am getting a new air filter and plugs.
Gonna paint the motor soon and then put the new plugs and valve cover gasket on, than slap her in the bike!

Yes,Tony is right,I did mean just the O-rings,not the manifold While you are there, make sure the radiator is clean inside and out.Lucasind wrote:I'm sure that Loren (cushman eagle) meant "the manifold o-rings"... not to replace the manifold. Now would be the time to replace the o-rings ,as they have been a issue on the XII at some point in the bikes lifetime.
