Two months in...and

Well... what can I say... gotta replace fork seals and brake pads... other than that I'm running it all over the place.
Couple of years ago, occupied with a V-twin and angry horsepower, I'd have looked a XII and shook my head.
Today, I can tell you I was wrong.
I'm still looking for my other bike that was stolen. I worked my ass off to pay for it.
If and when I recover it, its gonna get parked.

Don't replace the seals until after you've tried a Seal-Mate on them. :thk:

You can make one of those SealMates......I used an old rounded baby wipes container. Just cut it down, slip it between the fork and the seal,go around the tube...worked great. :-D

Also, invest in a set of fork protectors......it'll keep the tubes clean and bug free which will help reduce the risk of leaky fork seals. I bought a set of neoprene ones,I think that's what they're made of,they work great and they are easy to put on. They just wrap around the forks and are held together with Velcro
