Hats Off

Post by lockwoodjohn »

Hi Everyone,
My hat is off to ekapp1200 and Carl Leo. I took on the project of replacing my
coolant manifold O rings. ekapp1200 gave me some real good advice and the o ring replacement went fine. where I ran into a problem was when I went to put the oil line
back on the front of the engine. I noticed one bolt came out harder then the other 2.
when I put it back together it would not seal. The threads in one bolt hole was messed up. Between ekapp1200 and Carl who gave me some tips and suggestions I finally got the project done. If it was not for ekapp1200 and Carl I would still be trying to get the oil line to seal. Ended up tapping the messed up bolt hole to clean it up. Carl told me what size tap and how he does it. Everything went together smoothly
and I am happy to say Voyager does not leak any coolant or oil, Not one drop.
MANY THANKS TO EKAPP1200 AND CARL! lockwoodjohn, John Kinney posting.php?mode=post&f=2#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :woohoo:
