Did they run the radio antenna on the right side (as sitting on the bike) of the bike? When I bought my bike only the antenna on the left side was there. Maybe I have a cb antenna instead of a radio antenna.

I know on my 96' the radio antenna is on the right side when sitting on it. But I also have the CB so maybe without it was routed differently.

When standing at the rear of the bike and looking forward toward the windscreen, the AM/FM antenna is on the RH, (rear brake lever), side, and the CB antenna would be on the left.
The CB antenna has an covered internal copper coil about halfway up the antenna. This coil is covered by a black bakelite/plastic cylinder about 5/8ths" diameter and about 2-1/2" long, approximately. It is definitely a noticeable feature of the CB antenna.
