Pretty sure I got a replacement from Carl Leo a couple of years back.... I know I had to replace one and think he had them.

I lost one years ago, replaced it, and lost another after that. I then took the other one off, and forgot about them. Never had a problem without them.

OEM Kawasaki got mine through Ithaca Recreation sports. About 12.00 a side. I put them on using a little clear silicone. Helps hold them in place on windshield. Never fell off again. I think windshield looks better with them on. Then with out them.

Mine is crammed in there, just to keep it from flying off... I've re-seated it numerous times. The silicone idea is golden -- thanks for sharing. I might actually be able to keep mine in place now...

Ive actually never had that gasket that goes between the chrome trim and the windshield (did not know there was supposed to be one there). Does it make any difference?

The rubber strip helps keep water from going under the fairing possibley getting into wiring, I believe. Besides if it was not needed Kawasaki would not have put one there. Just my 2 cents worth. Take Care Everyone

Thanks for the info. Mine are going back on with some clear silicone before my next ride. I always wondered what their purpose was.
