First AVA rally

Post by krasmu »

I want to take a moment to thank all who worked tirelessly to make this years Rally such an amazing event. As a new member to the AVA and being my first time to a rally event, I was not sure what I was in for when I chose to attend. I have to say that I enjoyed every minute of it. Every single person there was so friendly and open to conversation about anything. From the first moment I rode into the rally sight to the last day as I said my good byes to those whom I had met, I felt at home and welcomed. Thank you to my AVA family who welcomed me with open arms. You all have my respect as fellow riders. I hope everyone got home safe and sound.

Kirk, glad you could make it, and glad the rally was a success for you. It is always amazing that these things come together as well as they do. I am glad to have had the opportunity to have met you, and sorry we didn't get to talk more. Wednesday, I had to take a personal trip down to Chippewa Falls that took all day, and Thursday was spent working on the video for the closing dinner. Wednesday's work was a fair bit better than Thursday's, LOL. Keep your '90 polished and primed, cause next year will be here before you know it.

Brad and I would like to second what Kirk had to say. It was our first rally as well and we met some amazing people who helped us feel part of your family. We are already looking forward to next year to see how many names we can remember! Thanks especially to Don and Trish who introduced us to so many members and Keith and Phil who took us under their wing ...we are blessed to call of you friends. Looking forward to Indiana...June is officially my favorite month of the year. Thanks again from South Dakota
