A sidecar stage for Tony's band at next years Rally. Can't wait to see you roll in on this Tony.

Wouldn't be hard to build, but how many times a year would it be used? Once!
Tony would sure be uncomfortable riding all that way to the rally, too, not to mention his drummer! Maybe it could be used as a mobile wedding stage, too! Anybody planning to get married at an AVA rally soon! Then we could drape black velvet over it to carry a casket. And, if a rally queen were ever crowned, she could ride on it in a chair in a very short parade across the parking lot! Just better not make it a rocking chair!

Have seen several versions of these over the years. Even played drums on one in a parade many moons ago. Was fun at 5 mph, but sure would be a challenge much faster then that. Cymbals would start flopping around to much.

Aw, come on, Ken! Sidecar racers "do it" on much smaller platforms and at much greater speeds.

No, no, no, Ken! You've got it all backwards! YOU will have to hang on! I'm only a pilot! I did about two months of sidecar racing before deciding it was more dangerous than bull-fighting! I filled in as pilot for a friend who raced, and he had a high points count before his surgery, so they wanted to gather as many points as they could while he recuperated. His girlfriend was the monkey, so she taught me how to drive. We did great for me being a rookie. Took a second place at Willow Springs track. But we also destroyed a hack three weeks later! Oh, the bruises and soreness!
Saw the pic of you and Tina trying to put the frisbee in the box! One of these "lowboys" would help with that! Next year Cindy and I will challenge you and Tina from our sidecar rig, or are sidecars disqualified?

As for the band ripping down the freeway at speed, I'll bet that would be frowned upon by the local constable. I sure wouldn't do that, and I've been known to try some pretty stupid stuff! It might be OK in a parade!

These guys don't appear to going any too slow. This falls under "Young and dumb". or maybe "young and indestructable". I guess when you look at your clock and figure out that you are closer to the end than you are to the begining, you become more aware of that fact that you are destructable. Let these young guns do this stuff and I'll enjoy laughing at them, or is that with them.

Wow, I have not been to Willow Springs since the mid 80's. I ran some hot laps there a couple of times. I remember that really late entry into 8 so you could dive through that hole in 9 and try and get a good exit so you could carry some speed down the front straight. Assuming the sidecars took the same line. I am afraid we will just have to get a couple of monkeys, because I am sure as heck not climbing on the back of one of those things. Never got to pilot one, but always thought would be interesting.

I do hope we see you in Indiana, but no sidecars in the bike games. There are several videos on line from 2013 through 2015 of bike games. Chis near Kansas
City posted several videos of all the riders from the games in Estes last year. Just do a search on youtube and you will find them.
