1999 voyager xii ran hot... Need used or new engine parts help.

Once you decide what parts you need, use diagrams from partshark, partzilla, or bikebandit etc, then perhaps the forum can be of some assistance.
Mr Carl Leo would be the best source for quality parts, but eBay motors has an abundance of used parts, (quality unknown), as well.
How bad did it overheat and why did it overheat? Are you sure it needs repairs?

Top end is torn down i need at least one piston all rings all hoses head shaved
The mechanic told me a hose split. Motor never showed hot. I stopped because fog inside windshield. Got water put it in it dumped out. Head gasket. Will know about rods and bearings this weekend.

I would be less costly to purchase another engine. Shop around and compare to the estimate from your mechanic.
