There are 3 metal clips on the inside of each one that you can carefully pry out with a small flat screw driver to remove the winglets. Really an easy task.

 Get the metal clips wet with a little spray lube like WD 40,makes removal even easier. :-D

Was fortunate enough to be stationed twice in the UK, Closest I came to your area was The Salisbury and Southampton areas. (was stationed at RAF Bentwaters near Ipswich and RAF Alconbury near Huntingdon) Love your country and its people! They treated me very well while there!

Welcome to the forum Red2stroke. Delighted to find another owner on this side of the Atlantic. I'm in Ireland, just north of Dublin. Always available to help if needed.

Hi
I am also a UK owner and have a 2000 voyager. I live in Guisborough in Cleveland (in between Middlesbrough & Whitby). Maybe need to plan our own rally for next year in the UK and see if we can get some of the UK owners together

If you require my e-mail or phone number give a message back. I'm offshore at the moment.

My other bike is a 1992 Suzuki DR800 single

Steve

No problem with vibes. I've ridden up to 500 miles in a day loaded with top box and panniers and toured around the UK. It has twin spark plugs, twin carbs and a 1 into 2 exhaust system Runs best at about 75mph but can pull over the ton.

Thankfully it has an automatic decompressor!!!

Hi Captain, thanks for the reply, I wonder how many UK owners there are? It's always good to meet another voyager owner this side of the pond. I've been to Whitby around 3 years ago to collect a CZ250 twin that I won on ebay , I still have a thing for CZ 's I currently have 5 I think , I would have to check as my little collection is about 30 bikes strong and I tend to sell one and buy two. I'm off to a motorcycle mega meet this Sunday it's at old airfield close to home, I'll post some pics if I can , I'll let you know if I come across any other Voyagers.....cheers Martyn
