Hi Carl, I am having a total right knee replacement on September 6th, too bad we don't live next door and we could go to PT together. Good luck and a speedy recovery to you.

Carl, you guys have prayed for me so it is time to return the favor. Look at it this way, you will be the bionic man once you get all those parts changed out. Tell them to give you a good oil change while in there. Will be praying for you buddy for a speedy recovery.

Carl I had both of mine replaced at the same time. Best advice is what my pt instructor said, "bend them as much as possible during therapy because what you do now is as much as you knees will ever bend later on".
Wasn't fun but glad I pushed hard. Best of luck and speedy recovery.

My wife had a total knee replacement and I can vouch for what Gator Mike said. No matter the pain do everything the physical therapist tells you.

Carl, hope all goes well with your surgery. Actually, you should have all the parts needed for such surgery in your shop! And, I have really sharp tooling for my mill if you would like to save money on having it done in a hospital. Would be glad to do that, and I'm sure I could get Tony (Lucasind) to assist me!

I had Total Knee Replacement in 2010. Back at full strength in 6weeks. I had a Continuous Repetitive Motion Machine and pushed hard. Best thing for me. Check on machine.
Good luck to you both.
