If you are looking at a Bell Mag-9, I have 2, both white, one large, one small, worn only 2 times, didn't like them, went back to the Sharks.
Will sell really cheap, like $100 for both in original boxes. This should help you to get the SENA SMH-10 bluetooth headsets.

If interested, PM me this forum. If not interested, I would still like to direct you to this website: http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle- ... -intercom/ Also check this site for helmet reviews. IMHA, one of the best websites for this kind of information.

I usually have a real problem finding a helmet that puts too much pressure on the peak of my forehead while still fitting well everywhere else. I have spent literally hours trying on different brands and models until I found the Fulmer brand helmets that seem to allow for that peak. I have a full-face Fulmer that I can ride with for hours on end, and I also found a G-Force open-face helmet that also fits nicely. The G-Force has really nice padding inside and feels great for a long time. The G-Force also cost only $99. It has the built in drop-down shade behind the clear main shield. I bought a shaded main shield that gives me a nice view along with the drop-down shade on really bright days.
I really like both of my helmets! BTW, the Fulmer full-face cost about $125, and also has the drop-down shade behind the clear main shield. I also replaced the original clear shield with a shaded main shield. Fulmers seem to fit about a size smaller than most. My Fulmer is a 2XL and my G-Force is an XL.

I've got an odd shaped head and also suffer from the pain in the forehead area if it does not fit right. The HJC IS33 is a nice affordable 3/4 helmet. My Sena 10S works great in it as well.

After describing to my dealer the problem I have with the tight fit against the peak of my forehead with some helmets, he suggested folding the liner back at the point of contact and gently tapping the area down with a small ball-peen hammer to give some relief. It's only a small spot that needs the "relief", so overall protection integrity isn't affected much, if at all. I have an older Bell helmet that I tried that on, and it works quite well. That hard styrofoam dents in easily and stays dented.
NO helmet has ever felt perfect on me until I took one I liked and did the relief trick.

Over the years I've found many with these issues. The problem with using a ball-peen hammer or such is that it dents in an area while the circle around it raises. :oh: I've helped many by laying the helmet on a table and using a wine bottle or baseball bat to 'roll it out ' thus making the whole area smooth. You're right in assuming a small amount of adjustment goes a long way.

Neal;
What a great idea! I'm gonna try that, 'cause my Shark gives me a headache after wearing it 6-8 hrs.

Also, Is it necessary to use an empty wine bottle, or a full one? Is it OK to use a full one, then empty it when you're done? :rolling: :rolling:

If you start with a bottle that's too small then it could take a couple of them :gig:

I've been making small adjustments to my helmet foam for years. It's the only way to get that perfect fit. I also wear a Fullmer 3/4 face and love it. I relieved the pressure in the front and I also made larger slots for my glasses stems to slip into.
