Radio Removal Question
Apologize if this question has been done to death...but I'm looking to remove the radio to send in to Pete Franchi...Is there anything I need to do or look out for if I reassemble the fairing and ride the bike without the radio while it's off for upgrades? Thanks

Re: Radio Removal Question
No, the bike will run fine without the radio installed. But rain water can get into an uncovered opening so perhaps a cardboard, duct tape covered plug would be advised to shed any water trying to enter.
Also be careful and gentle with the removal of the 2 rear rubber radio mounts, shown on the www.partzilla.com , 2003, voyager XII, "Other" diagram as # 92160A.
These are no longer available/obsolete. They can be rebuilt if needed using silicone.
