Questions about fairing vents
Hello all - Working on a '90 Voyager, decided to send in the stereo for upgrades. While I've got the front fairing apart, decided to go ahead and replace the broken fairing vents (both uppers are loose). Has anyone else bypassed the idea of using rivets and gone with screws & locknuts, or are rivets needed for clearance? Thanks for your time.

Re: Questions about fairing vents
Clearance is limited behind the plastic meter cover.
They are just a standard 1/8" pop rivet and washer, and one can use a permanent marker to colour it black if needed.

Re: Questions about fairing vents
I can see where the bottom vents use screws but were are the screws or rivet on the top vents?

Re: Questions about fairing vents
The rivets hold the shutter/louver housings against the radio mounting plate.

Re: Questions about fairing vents
TY for the responses everyone. Will drag out the rivet gun and pickup some 1/8th rivets.
