Rear lights

Post by odgreen »

Just discovered that the rear running lights have stopped working on the trunk and lower fender. Is there a fuse or know pinch point that I can check. Not getting any voltage at all back there with the bike running, I still have brake light and turn signals. Thanks Ed

Should be easy to visualize the fuses under the faux tank. If you cant find a blown fuse check grounds of the bulbs. Once of course you confirm that the bulbs themselves are not burnt.

Most of the time when lights particularly the brake lights stop working, it is either a corrosion problem at the bulb base or a fuse or as you found some hack job on the wires under the tank. I am glad you found it. Electrical problems are probably the number one complaint most new owners of previously owned Voyagers have. Never feel intimidated to ask questions on here. Somebody before you has most likely experienced the same problem. Enjoy your Voyager, I do.
