Good new to hear that, Now if you need to borrow a repair manual, come down and pick up mine. I have one backup that I keep in the house by the PC, you can borrow that one.

First I need to mention I am riding a 1300 so everything is different .
Now to my probably to long story .
I picked up this 1300 about 2 years ago and knew when I bought it it had a misfire on one cylinder .
put in new plugs and it ran ok for a couple hundred miles .Then it started fouling 2 cylinders (2 and 5) so I replaced the coil .
This ran good for most of the next summer then after a four day rain it started again only this time it would foul different plugs up to 4 or five not firing good .
I did have spark but it looked weak .
After replacing the igniter to no avail I was going to change the fuel pump
On the 1300 you have to remove one of the regulators to accomplish this .When I was unplugging the regulator the whole plug fell apart A quick inspection showed the wires had been shorting and melted the plug . Note that the bike always charged good but occasionally the battery would short out .
I put in three new batteries in two years .
The long story is that after I fixed the plug and replaced the regulator the bike started firing on all 6 cylinders and runs better everytime I ride ,including riding in the rain .
My point being that your troubles could be hiding in plain sight and may not necessarily be very obvious .
Please note that by the time I fixed this the plugs would cake with soot and I am sure the cylinders were not much better and this is clearing up more each ride along with greatly improved gas mileage .
I am once again smiling when I ride .
See you all in Nashville .
