Tire Valve Stems

Post by ffltstn »

Time for new tires and I have never changed the valve stems on the bike and I have owned it since 2000. (it's a '95)
1 Do I need too? They are working fine at this point.
2 What size would i need to get? OEM are over $20 each so would probably get aftermarket.
3 I have heard of others using a 45°on the front. Has anyone done this?
4 Suggestions on which ones to buy and where?
Thanks.

.... I used a 90 deg on my rear and love it!! I couldn't get one when replacing
the front and had to settle for an angled one and it's a PITA!!! Get 90 degrees
and love it!! JM2C

90 deg front and back. Work great. Have to turn front 90 at a 45 deg to clear left caliper.
So easy to air up and check air press. No special tire press gage required.
