Fuel pump hose routing
Does it matter which way the fuel hoses go onto the pump? I can't find an "inlet" stamp on the new pump I purchased (or the old pump), and I wasn't smart enough to mark the hoses when I removed the old pump.

As mounted on the bike and looking at the end of the pump, the nipples should be around the 9 and 7 o'clock position. The 9 o'clock goes to the filter.

Re: Fuel pump hose routing
That was helpful Chris. Installed as suggested and the bike started immediately and runs as hoped (in the shop). Test drive time. Many thanks. Saved me a bunch of time, effort and frustration.

Re: Fuel pump hose routing
I couldn't remember for sure, and was toooo lazy to go downstairs to the garage to actually look at mine. So I looked up fuel pumps on ebay and there were several pump/filter/bracket assemblies on there.
