Voyager XII Mirror Extenstions - DO IT!!!
I put them on last nite and today went for a ride, and LO and BEHOLD!!!
I could use my mirrors!!! Get this!!!! I could even see traffic coming up behind
me!!!!!
It actually makes the mirrors usable!!!! You still might want to add an
external to the mirrors, convex mirror for overall viability, but I would
NOT use one sq in of the current mirror surface, I'd mount then above the
existing mirror for more coverage, and I still might do this...
BUT, I'm real happy with them for now!!! JM2C

Re: Voyager XII Mirror Extenstions - DO IT!!!
I can see perfectly to the rear with my factory mirrors. I am afraid if I put on extensions I would break the right one backing into the limited space in my garage. I already broke the left one twice, once when I dropped the bike while the Mrs and I were parking at a restaurant. Very embarrassing.

Same for me: mirrors were useless until the extenders were installed. More to do with height I'm guessing, than weight? Cheers!

Re: Voyager XII Mirror Extenstions - DO IT!!!
I can see where extensions would help the mirrors. I am tall and normal build. While I can see behind me I also see my shoulders in my mirrors. So it is a height in the seat type thing. Glad this was posted, because I hadn't given it much thought, just lived with it. Glad to know there is an option!

Re: Voyager XII Mirror Extenstions - DO IT!!!
Definitely considering a set of these, as I find the stock mirror location creates a blind spot directly in my six, makes it difficult to monitor traffic coming from behind when stopped.
