The CB seems to work, if the radio is on, it cuts out when
the push to talk is in, I lower the squelch and I get noise,
channel selection works....
When I push the talk button, the TX / RX lights come on
the CB, The only thing is, I was next to a buddy on channel
1 and he could not hear me, and I could not hear him....
Radio works fine, metered the antenna and no short,
haven't gotten to check that it's plugged in yet.
New to me scoot, previous owner said it worked.... so I'm
wondering what I did?
I've checked all the buttons, front and back. My method of
talk input is the helmet microphone after I push to talk button.
I hear nothing from the front radio speakers, I don't know if I'm
supposed to hear my words while talking, I can understand not
hearing them to prevent a feedback loop... Ideas? TIA

Re: Need CB operation help!
The only way you can actually know it is transmitting is to hook up a VSWR meter between the radio and the antenna and check it for power. The meter can also tune the antenna for best transmitting.
