I have nothing to add but will be doing the same soon. May I ask what you picked up for speakers? I am going to try to fin 2 way 4" marine speakers for both sets. I hope that is the correct size?
Thanks

Re: Rear speakers it's making me crazy!!!
On the Voyager XII rear speakers the 6 screws that secure the bottom rubber dampers also hold the speakers halves together.
Don't try to undo the FAKE hex drive cap screws on the face of the speaker housing as that will ruin your day.

... and if Ya want to get at the screws holding the speakers to the chrome grill,
it looks like there are 4 bolts that pass thru the trunk lid to take the grill off and
make it easy to get at the speaker mounting screws... haven't done it, but
that's how I'd go after it.. Best to Ya!!!!

Re: Rear speakers it's making me crazy!!!
Each speaker has three acorn nuts holding each one to the bracket. Remove them and you will see that each one of those is a vibration cushion and each of those is held onto the speaker with 2 Philips screws each. When you remove the Philips you will be able to pull the speakers apart. An open end 10mm wrench will remove the speakers from the bracket. You don't have to remove the bracket from the trunk to remove the speakers. Voyager 80 I posted a 2 part piece you can access which shows taking the speakers apart.
