More leg room
Hi all...first post....i have a 93 it came with floorboards but I couldn't shift with my knee issues so swapped to pegs. Can shift now but still feels cramped....Im not tall, 32 inseam but feel like im squatting on the bike....any suggestions....and is the crazy heat normal on my calves?

I'm 6'7 have same issue, I moved the shifter 2 splines and that helped. Also there is a work around I seen in a previous post by bolting a bracket to the foot pegs and lowering them 1/2 inch. Not sure where the thread is though.

There are mods you can do to the trunk to move it back farther and then in turn you can adjust how far back you can put the rear seat back giving more leg room.

.... center rear, above the license plate, just below the trunk is a lever a
little to the left, move it left and pull.....
Make sure your backrest is all the way back, lever on left, behind left cheek.....

Regarding the heat on your calves,you might be missing the seals between the engine and fairing.Those seals stop the air coming through the radiator from coming back at you,instead of going out the vents away from you.
