NEEDED PICTURE WITH AN AVA MEMBER IN FALL FOLIAGE

Post by HMB Don »

I'm looking for a high resolution picture in portrait view. A picture with the motorcycle and AVA member. Nice pictures are also taken from the back seat, while riding through all of those tree showing off they fall colors.

This Picture will be used in the Fall Issue of the Voyagers Voice.

Mark, that will be great thanks.

Mr. Jansee, no problems your pictures just show how different our countries climates are. Just get out and ride and get a picture.

I've received one picture from John, so the more the better we can do a pictorial.

Sorry, There is no fall foliage available in California. It has all burnt to the ground. Please try again next year!

Thanks for the guidance on the pictures.

Last Thursday (10/12/17), I had to go to my tree farm in Southern Indiana. Included was a 250 mile round trip. Although it was cloudy, it was a great ride through state and county roads. Here are a couple of pictures.
1st. Picture: One of 8 deer that I saw on the way to the farm. This time of the year always keeps me on edge. Be careful!
2nd. Picture: "A Kaw On The Farm" My 1993 Voyager at the farm entrance.

We'll take more rides in the coming days. I'll post some more pictures.

Cheers

My wife & I were planning a 100 mile ride Sunday yesterday and hoping to get some riding pictures. The weather prevented that. However, here's a picture of leaves on the wet pavement at a stop sign. It's a reminder to be careful around them, as they can cause bikes to slide out and come crashing down. That's the story of my first crash, nearly 40 years ago.

... have a friend, his handle is Hardass... as we know, most of our 'nics come from
out lives... we have a place south of the SF bay area called Gilroy, they have a thing
called The Gilroy Garlic Festival... yeah, they grow and harvest it down there...

Sometime while peeling an onion, get some leaves wet and see that they feel like..
slickery comes to mind... during harvest time, trucks were hauling loads of
garlic and the leaves were fluttering about...

My friend was out early, 0630 and as normal a lot of dew on the ground....
yup, he went thru the leaves and dew and was on his A$$ before he
knew what happened!!!! ... slicker'n snot comes to mind!!!!

Never seen it happen... went from a nice mild day with few leaves changing and falling off the trees , to a week of wind and rain and poof. Bare and barren tree's didn't even have to rake up. They all just blew away somewhere into the woods. Time has flown by and look , New Year upon us and the next time I work outside It will be pool opening season. At my age I need time to slow down it is moving way to fast.
