Dash failure

I cant seem to post in the classified area so I am posting here.

I have a 1983 that the dash lights up but the tach, speedo does not respond. Everything else works but it seems to not be getting any signal to the tach and speedo???

First off you should eit this and put it in 1300 page.
Start by checking the plugs going to the underside of the fairing ,check fuses including in fairing and check the wireing from the fairing for broke or loose connections.
this has happened to me a few times and it has always been the plugs under fairing .
