bike's for sale
Well, I out my bike on the classified area. It is a great bike and I have added a ton of stuff but I have decided that I will be either trading it towards a truck or selling it pick one up. Buying a house in the country on a dead end road changes things that needed so.. bike needs to go to someone else that will love it. Have a great holidays.

Re: bike's for sale
Not necessarily true .voyager55 wrote:$4900??? You'll never get that much for it. Maybe $2900 if you're lucky
A few years back I saw a Purple ZN 1300 go for $7000 .
Depends on how bad you want to sell and how much a buyer is willing to pay for the bike they want
$4900 ,although steep , is not an unreasonable asking price

Re: bike's for sale
I have actually adjusted this some time back to be
It is a great bike just am going to go back to a sport touring C14 or ST1300. So I am going to sell my 2000 Kawasaki Voyager. It has just over 31k on it, still riding so will go up a bit. I have done a ton of upgrades to it this summer including: carbs 100% serviced, new brakes, all new LED lights less dash including the headlight, $300+ Denali D2's, has both the factory and Corbin seat both with backrest, trailer hitch and harness, new higher end front speakers. The bike has cruise, radio etc.. all work.
I also have a great condition piggy back trailer that I would sell to complete a long touring package.
Will sell for:
1) With trailer $3500 OBO
2) Without the trailer for $3200 OBO
So seeing that at 3500 that is with 2 seats, tons of upgrades and a piggy back trailer.. all ready to go cross country I think that it is a good deal.. input is always good?

Re: bike's for sale
Since we are on the subject of bike sales, once I am through refurbing Charlie's 2003 Voyager we need to sell it. I am going to ask $2300 for it. It will be in good condition when I am done. It already had a new battery, oil filter and fresh oil. I have changed out the fuel filter, the brakes have been freed up and refurbished down to the caliper pistons. All the fluids have been changed. Working now on freeing up all the cables. Carl will have the carburetor bank next week when done I will put them back on the bike. It will be up and running before it is put up for sale. It wont have a progressive suspension but the new owner can have that done. I need to do this for Diane, Charlie's widow who could really use the money. The bike only has 25,000 miles on it which is only 5,000 miles more on it than mine had when I bought it back in 2009 when I paid $5750 it. It has a few more items on it than mine did including passenger arm rests that are factory looking units. Anyone interested please look at the numbers in my avatar and call me.
