Highest Mileage Tires for ZN1300

Post by Van Voyager »

In anticipation of wearing out my current buns - not even sure what they are, I'm wondering what others ZN1300 experience is with high mileage tires. Found a site that indicated the ME888 is the highest mileage tire for heavy touring bikes. Any experience with those? I got almost 40k Kms out of a Dunlop Cruisemax tire on another heavy Kawasaki Cruiser. Anybody else use those on a 1300 Voyager?

most of us run a Dunlop E3
MR90-18 front
MU90B-16 rear
Have not heard much about the new E4 but i am sure they will work fine.

Thanks MA. What kind of mileage are you getting out of the rear tire?

Edit - What are the thoughts on running Radials?

I can not give a real estimate on mileage .
I have around 10K on this bike but I do not know how many the PO put on .
Rear still has very good tread and front still looks new.
As far as radials ,the rims are not made for them and you could have problems keeping them on
