I am home.

Post by Mr Jensee »

Thank all of you who posted you were praying for me. I am home now and have no plans to return to the hospital. I am receiving home heath and physical therapy for a few weeks till I can get my land legs back. I had no idea this surgery was such an energy drainer. I almost had to learn how to walk again. I had a setback last week when my blood pressure nearly dropped to zero. They took me again to ICU where they gave me 3 pts. of blood and in the mean time I lost all comprehension of my surroundings. It seemed every time I woke up I was in a different room. Anyway I am on the way to healing and hope by July I can manage my Voyager again. I so miss riding.

Thank you all but no motorcycling for 2 months minimum. Till then I am relegated to being a passenger in a car.

Glad to hear the worst is behind you. Take it easy and let things heal properly. That way once you start riding again, you can keep riding.

Happy to hear you are on the mend. While you may not be able to ride the bike, maybe it would be a good time to do some cleaning and buffing on it if you can. Whatever you can do until the day you're back in the saddle. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. :hpdc:

I go out and start and run it every week. I have a tender on it so the battery is healthy. I wish I could say the same for my car. It hasn't run in a month. I have graduated from using a walker to a cane to being able to walk and move without one. Feeling better every day. Hope to start driving in another week so I dont have to depend on my wife driving me everywhere. Thank you all for your support. I wish for all the world I could have made Kerrville this year. Hope the next one is just as close.
