arm rests for rear passemger and comm system
Are arm rests available for rear passenger?
My wife has a broke arm with little hope of healing soon.
Might need support for a long ride.
I am seriously considering this bike.

She sure is pretty.
It is wired for com system but does not have the devices.
What would I need to buy?
Thanks and God Bless

Chris near Kansas City makes custom arm rest brackets for the Voyager so that you can put GL1500 arm rests on it. You would need headsets with connectors that fit the Y-cord to use the intercom. If the bike doesn't have the Y-cord already, you will need that too. Other than that, the AM/FM/cassette comes with everything else built-in. You can get headsets and a Y-cord from Neal. You can find these two guys on this message board by searching for their names. Go to "Members", then click on "Find a member". Hope this helps.

You could also go with any Bluetooth Intercom set. The advantage is that they are wireless, which means you can talk between the bike (while gassing up), and the store (while she is inside shopping for snacks and drinks). Been there, done that.
We use Honda GL1100 arm rests on our's. They bolt onto the front bolt of the passenger grab bars; they rotate forward/back, and in/out, for a truly customizable fit for the passenger. They can be found, usually, on e-Bay. The seller I went with, makes them, so they are new, not NOS, and they are both comfortable to use, and a great fit. Cheers!

For the Armrest brackets Chris makes. Very strong & well built. I used the Gold wing's Armrest.
(Hey Chris, I still haven't received your $20 for the comments I made few months back about your armrest.)

Checked with Chris near KC recently...said he no longer makes the brackets.

Re: arm rests for rear passemger and comm system
I bought a pair of P-brackets, to attach my GL1200 Honda Arm Rests to the passenger grab bars. I hope to mount them this week. Not positive they will work, but the P-brackets were around $9, delivered, made of aluminum. I'll come back and post my results. Cheers!
