Cruise control wires

Post by Neal »

Does anyone remember which wires need to be connected under the faux tank to enable the cruise without those bright green lights?

Neal, is this what you are talking about? "You can jumper out 3 wires and eliminate the cruise control pod altogether leaving the cruise on all the time. Jumper the red, brown and black/white wires together." Credit goes to Jack in Michigan, way back in 2005.

Ya Barry, That's what I was talking about. I did that on both my first 2001 and a 1996, but couldn't remember in order to do my 'new to me' 2002.
Thanks
