Darkside & progressive shocks

I bought a rear wheel with a darkside tire mounted from a member (Thank You!) and also installed Progressive rear coilover shocks.
While doing that I lubed the driveshaft splines front and rear and the swing arm bearings.

What a great riding machine it now is!
My wife noticed the difference right away.
Much smoother ride and I don't have any loss of confidence in how the tire performs.

... I was there for a while also... I love to hear "tales of the Darkside",
anyone 'member back in the 50s? Scoots didn't have round tires!!!

Rear Progressive spring shocks is the best upgrade one can make for a better ride.

Be careful which Progressive shock you get!.I put the 416 progressives on ,which although advertised as being an air shock,has such a heavy spring in it,I only use 12lbs in them when I pack for a trip with both of us on.Without luggage they are too stiff with no air.The 416 is really an air assisted spring shock.

I got the 412. What an improved ride!
