There is a fuel filter right at the fuel pump, have you replaced it ?
Have you drained the carb bowls to look for rust and or water ?

As a follow-up to what ekap1200 suggested, I'd run SeaFoam through the gas tank, every month, per the instructions: dissolves varnish deposits, burning the residue in the engine; absorbs small amounts of water in the fuel system; stabilizes gasoline for up to 24 months. I use it to mothball my bike for the Winter storage months, and monthly during riding season, as a PM. Costs around $9 per16 oz. can. Other than needing new Float Needles once, I haven't had a carb issue since 2010, when I bought the bike, been using SeaFoam ever since. In the Spring, it starts like I parked it last week (after the gas reaches the floats and the carbs -- dries out during storage). Cheers!
