That is a forum image.
All you have to do on the forum now it upload images as attachment. So now very seldom will you need to resize them.
When you make a post, down towards the bottom you will see a tab that says attachments click on the the tab and then I believe. It says add file. Select the file I think it says open click on it and that's it really simple. If it is too large it will tell you.
If your user name is not green you can not upload attachments

Re: posting pictures
Tony, are you online with your phone or a computer ? I open up a reply to a post or a new post. Using the scroll bar on the right of the screen ; look below the ( save draft, preview , submit ) buttons
you should see a large green area ; that at the top left area are 2 tabs that say ( options / and attachments )
left click on the attachments tab and the green area now should change with a button that says ( add files )
click on it AND------------------------
A NEW window should appear with a root directory of places that your photo file's ( MAY BE ) USUALLY in the library/pictures folder
EXPAND THE folder on the left that says Library
NOW below ON THE LEFT PANE are all the SUB folders that will have photos in it ( if that is where you normally SAVE TOO when you put them on the PC from a camera, phone, USB FLASH DRIVE , OR have downloaded them from the web and saved. Open up one of those folders, by DATE or what you may have named that folder when you put the photos on the PC that day. Or from whatever folder you may have saved the photo file to.....
NOW, once you find the photo from its folder, just open it
In the green area you will now see the ( filename on the left ) The size and status of the upload on the right side of the screen.
Maybe the status of your membership is an issue ?
Hope this helps out, here is a pic of the three of ya in the rocky's and me on my bike at the same rest stop ( snow in the summer ) That was a treat- air was a bit thin

Thanks for the reply Gene, this must be the reason, as the things that you suggest , do not appear on the screen.......was just looking to share some pics with the group of my recent workshop activities..............I guess I will just make the post on the AVA's FB page................... laptop in use for all posts,
Tony

Re: posting pictures
Posting pictures could never be so easy on the forum.
When ever you start a topic or reply to a post you have the option of uploading the attachment.
Down towards the bottom there are a couple of tabs click o the one that say attachments, it will open up and then select add file.
When you select add file it will allow you to select files from you computer and all associate a name or title to it.
The you can either leave it as an attachment or you can place it in line.
No resizing needed
Currently only paid members can up load so if you user name is not green it cant be done.
Tony I will open it up so you can give it a try.
One can also post videos but that is a little more complicated

Re: posting pictures
this video will show you how to upload pictures no resizing needed. This video was uploaded as an attachment
You can upload 5 attachments
now you can place them in line there is one the picture above is vary large in size but I did not have to resize it to attach it
here is 2 here is 3
all of these images will blow up vary large just click on one image and when it opens, just above the image there are some controls. You will see a box with 2 arrows pointing to the corners click on that and now you have an extremely large image. If the arrows are dark that is as big as you can make it.
here is 4 so now that they are up loaded and place in line I will submit them

Got in a ride on my 1300 Voyager on Christmas day ..my son Brad got me some new cold weather riding gloves , so I had to go try them out ....rode along the river 20 miles out and 20 miles back ,,a brisk 33 degree day , after getting on my riding gear was quite comfy !
