I just installed a complete set on my 2000 . Started last night pulling the plastic ; on the left side ,and pulling all the fluid out of the systems. Back to front on the brake lines today starting around ten then took on the clutch line after lunch. I may try some GALFER brake pads, if they make non- sintered metal. Those rotors are not cheep. What a nice look these lines make.
I have been meaning to install since the Fall Ride In Up State NY .
But the weather has had its good moderate temp days for riding, Even today I could have went out in the morning sunshine.... that all changed after lunch time. Cold and damp, I am so lucky to have a heated shop to work in.
Once up on the lift , I can see all the dirt I brought back from the ride-in. Time for its twice a year thorough cleaning and wax job.
So in closing , well / GALFER lines were a great fit , aside from needing 6 inch's of fuel line to secure at the OEM clamp areas. Not a deal breaker at all . ALONG WITH 4 plastic ties very little is needed in shop supplies and DOT 4 fluid. An easy day of Christmas music and bike work.
