Merry Christmas to all. My wife gave me a new helmet and I got her gloves, socks and jacket liner from Gerbings. She loves her heated gear. Can’t wait for the next riding day. Happy New Year everyone and may the weather provide great riding opportunities for us all.
Having fun whenever possible is never overrated!

Merry Christmas everyone. Once again I put out the money to buy other family members gifts and I end up holding the bag. I even had to foot the bill for the Christmas dinner. :oh:

Moderators ignore that report. I pressed the wrong button to reply.

Cushman I am still barely able to walk. I have been reduced to using a walker most of the time to get around. I can still drive for now. I was supposed to have surgery the middle of last month on the right knee the one most painful. However without them telling me they forgot to put me on the surgical list. Now they have me scheduled to do the procedure on the 8th of this month. If it doesn't go this time I will be looking for a new group of doctors.

Mr. Jensee, sadly you do have to find or keep trying to find a doctor that not only respects the fact that you need healed but one that doesn't see a patient as a returning customer (month after month). I regret to admit that some doc's may fail to heal a patient in order to maintain a steady income it seems!
My mother-in-law was having issues and her family doc brushed it off as a cold, she asked her cardiologist and he suggested it was just her heart rhythm (a-fib), finally after not accepting those diagnosis' she made her own appointment with a lung specialist who ordered x-rays, followed by cat-scan which the results then prompted a Pet-scan and on 1-8-19 she is scheduled for cancer surgery. She is 83 and VERY able bodied, self sufficient and healthy otherwise. Maybe the previous doctors just brushed it off as an old woman aging but she didn't accept that.

You/we all; deserve the best care available and if the doctors don't want to do their job, they should become a Walmart greater!
Hang in there and stand your ground!!!!!

I appreciate the well wishes. I am doing all I can to get back to being useful again. As it is I cant even take out the trash or roll it to the curb. I realize being on Medicare and a supplement that it is hard to find good doctors who are willing to take what little they pay as payment but it will not deter me from getting some useful treatment. As expensive as my heart surgery was I have still to get a bill. Glad I got a supplement. Anyone on Medicare and doesn't have one is screwed.
