cracked corner on trunk lid

hello all, have a crack on corner of trunk lid , front corner right side. what is the best glue or way to repair it? . thanks for any suggestions. Rich

It's ABS, and you can get the glue at any hardware store. It's easy to repair, and the repairs are strong. You might want to use a Dremel and little wire wheel to cut a curf along the crack so that the glue gets in there a little. Put the glue in with a toothpick, and then find a way to live with the black line.

I had a lot of these repairs all over my bike, including some with a lot of continuous stress. I mean, I had to torque on parts to close the crack, and then glued it. It stayed together after I took the torque off. Ended up repainting the whole thing white, just like my GMC pickup I was also repainting. Was cheaper and otherwise better than fussing with that 2-stage candy paint.
