1988 Voyager X11, just started a couple days ago, today nothing. Seems to be no power at ignition switch, no gushes, hea
1988 Voager 12, I bought it New. Just rode it last week, today with ignition on there is no nothing. The battery is full charged and good, all fuses are good. No headlight, no instruments, no radio, horn. Any sugestions

... clean the battery posts...... If you want, you can put a voltmeter
on the battery CABLES and check voltage, then put the meter on
THE POSTS.... and check.. it's that or your ground cable isn't....
,. then just put a wrench on the cables and tighten.. get you
by for a bit??????

Likely the battery crapped out, I once had a battery that would meter at 12.6 volts but couldn't light a test lamp. Might want to have it load tested.

If your battery and connections to it check out ok, and the fuses are all ok, then it is might to be the dreaded too tight wires on the ignition switch, although I would have thought that would have reared it's ugly head before now. The wires were pulled too tight, and after so many miles, they would break or cause other problems. The only other thing if it is not too tight ignition wires, is the big connector by this switch has corroded to the point, that it is no longer making contact even if plugged together. Take the connection apart, and see if that is the case. If so, hopefully you can clean it with electronics cleaner, then use dielectric grease to prevent that from happening again on that connection.
