winter anti freeze leak

Post by mah902 »

I park my voyager over the winter in my attached (unheated) garage in Indiana
On the sidestand of course it leans to the left
It is a 13 model and did not have a problem until a couple years ago
The relatively minor leak consists of just a few drops that land just behind the kickstand
I have heard of "cold water leaks" on semis etc.
Are there any coolant hose clamps up under the gas tank that could be running down or has anyone else experienced this
When warm weather hits (if it ever does) I don't notice any problem Any advice from anybody up north would be appreciated THANKS

I have a 2017 and have not noticed this problem but I’m thinking that it’s location may lead to the rubber hose that lives behind the side cover to the expansion tank.Indiana just experienced some massive cold and maybe the liquid in that rubber line is freezing causing a small weeper. Certainly would be the first place I would check and hopefully the easiest to fix. Good luck
Having fun whenever possible is never overrated!
