No,not the E-4 on the VXII but the rear tire of the Cushman.
I took a close look at it yesterday, and found he center of the tread is gone, with only 1900 miles!
At $120 for a tire and a tube it makes the VXII tires seem like a bargain
I agree with Cranky 100%, too much the center wears out faster ~ too little and the outside wears faster. The ride was probably a little harder than it should have been also.
Mid-Atlantic Voyagers chapter secretary {"scribe"} 2001 Voyager XII We may not know them all, but we owe them all! Thank a Veteran today!
That little tire is only rated for 30 psi, which is what I run.I would not want much less
As far as ride,it is a hardtail,it will be a little rough, although, the seat is well sprung.
The cross section is round, unlike the flatter section of the motorcycle tires.
The size is 4.75 X 7.75 so there is not much room to work with.
The Cushman has been quite reliable this year ,and has just passed the 2000 mile mark since the restoration 5 years ago.
Yeh I know, that is not many miles per year, but when I want to go many miles on a ride,I take the VXII.
